SMASH for your team

You are bringing your theater troupe, gallery committee, arts group, design team or another team to SMASH! You are here to network and promote what you do in the arts community. We want you to get the most out of your evening. We know that half the fun is just walking through the door, but here are a few suggestions to make your evening both fun AND productive!

BRING THE WHOLE TEAM!

SMASH! Is THE BIGGEST Triangle arts industry event of the year! Bring the whole team to let them benefit from the connections AND help spread the word about your work.

GET READY FOR YOUR CLOSE-UP!

Grab your crowd and take a SUPERHERO SELFIE!  We will have superhero garb at our Selfie Wall (or bring your own!) so you can share your team SUPERHERO picture from SMASH!

MAKE YOURSELVES EASY TO FIND!

While you are there to connect with others, folks are also looking for you and want to know who you are and to learn about your organization or business. So, in addition to those marvelous Superhero smiles, have your group coordinate a plan that makes it easier for other attendees to recognize which organization you are with, so they feel comfortable to talk to you, share ideas and ask their questions.  Wear logo t-shirts. Consider capes, or bedazzle name tags to highlight your work. Bring handouts and SWAG!  Make yourselves obvious!

HAVE/NEED STICKERS AND WALL

Our popular Have/Needs sticker and Wall will be back this year. Do you have creative services or resources that the community needs? Are you looking for staff or have a call for artists or other opportunity to share? Have an event coming up? Looking for help on a project? Come prepared by making your flyer for the Have/Need Wall ahead of time (or we will have some materials there) . We ask that you limit your promotional materials to 8.5” x 11” (or smaller!)  if you plan to attach them to the wall.

GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED AT QUICK•CONNECT

Back this year, we will have Quick•Connect tables in the Atrium area with local experts/resources on such issues as marketing, board development, running a small business, law, accounting and more. What question have you been wrestling with? Learn more here about how to get an answer at SMASH!
